I provide individual psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults. I am a licensed psychologist and have ten years experience working in the field.
My training and experience include an undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree in clinical psychology. I have completed advanced training in working with adults and adolescents. My dissertation explored the benefits of Group Therapy for those living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My internship year was spent working with those living with and affected by a Cancer Diagnosis. I currently work as an Expert Witness for King County Superior Court representing four major hospitals in the Seattle area.
I am a Humanistic Psychotherapist, meaning that I follow the theories and clinical research of Carl Rogers and his colleagues. My role is to provide you with a safe, empathic, and supporting therapeutic environment in which to empower you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is about examining deep personal issues that may be causing you distress so that you may increase your coping skills and have a greater understanding of yourself.
